Tampon

The refractory mortar pad is made from granules obtained by grinding the scrap from the rollers. It is inserted on the driving side to protect the machine. It can also be inserted on the idle side, in which case it is equipped with a twenty hole. This accessory is supplied upon customer request.

Aluminium granules for refractory and abrasive use; is produced with grain size 0 – 1 mm, 0 – 0,5 mm, 0 – 0.3 mm. If subjected to further grinding with subsequent spray drying process (atomisation) the particle size is 0 – 50 μm.
